Crowns, bridges
If a tooth cannot be restored with fillings, because there is not enough bone material to hold the filler, then the tooth still can be saved by grinding if off and applying an aesthetic crown.
We place crowns, bridges on appropriately treated teeth only. Therefore we replace old fillings and, if necessary, the tooth undergoes a root treatment. If one or more teeth are missing, we can prepare a fixed bridge by grinding off the neighbouring teeth.
We can prepare the crowns of various materials
metal & ceramic crown: nickel-free metal frame receives a ceramic veneer
This is an often-chosen crown type; it is primarily used for replacing missing teeth of the back region.
A metallic-ceramic crown can be prepared for individual teeth, or metallic-ceramic bridges can be prepared for multiple missing teeth. It can be an option for the frontal region as well, but zirconium crowns are more popular for these regions nowadays.
gold-ceramic crown: a golden frame receives a ceramic veneer
pressed ceramic crown: aesthetic metal-free crown
- the frame is prepared with a special procedure, pressing.
- There is no allergy to metals and it has a natural appearance.
- it is recommended for broken teeth, or the aesthetic restoration of heavily discoloured or severely damaged teeth
zirconium crown: metal-free aesthetic crown
- CAD/CAM procedure, precise, perfect fitting
- no metal allergy
- one of the most aesthetic solutions
- it is recommended for broken teeth, or the aesthetic restoration of heavily discoloured or severely damaged teeth
- natural appearance
- harder than the natural tooth material
- The CAD/CAM technology is a computer procedure which allows for even more precise denturesű
- metal-free
- built on a tooth-colour frame which is important for the look
- it has large tearing strength, bears the chewing force securely
When should one choose the zirconium crown?
- when the old metallic-ceramic crown is replaced
- when there are root-treated, discoloured teeth
- if there are teeth missing and an aesthetic bridge is to be prepared
- if a severely worn, pin-reinforced tooth requires correction
Our goal is always to find a nice and aesthetic solution.

In the front region are press-ceramic crowns and there are zircon-ceramic bridges in the rear region.
